School Council
The School Council plays a vital role in the life of our school, giving students a genuine voice in decision-making. At the beginning of each academic year, students vote for their representatives to the School Council in a democratic election held within each class. These elected members meet monthly to discuss issues, share ideas, and propose positive changes across the school. Furthermore, they meet with the School Governors annually to present their work, discuss their priorities, and ensure that the student perspective is heard at the highest level of school leadership.
Useful and Kind
The Useful and Kind Council is central to fostering a supportive and compassionate atmosphere at our school. Each year, students participate in a democratic election to vote for their representatives from within their class to serve on the Council. These elected members meet monthly to discuss important issues and generate ideas focused on how we can all work together to ensure our school community is truly useful and kind to every member.
Sustainability
Our exciting, newly formed Sustainability Council is on a mission to champion and promote environmental responsibility across the school. Comprised of dedicated student representatives, the Council meets monthly to tackle important issues and brainstorm practical ideas. Their focus is on ensuring our school is constantly thinking about sustainability, working to change our collective actions, and developing positive long-term attitudes toward protecting the planet. They are the driving force behind making our school greener!
Sports Leaders
Our enthusiastic Year 5 and 6 Sports Leaders play a crucial role in promoting physical activity and positive play across the school. These students are specially trained to organise and support games, actively encouraging younger children to participate and enjoy being active during playtimes. You’ll see them working diligently at every playtime, engaging their peers in various activities, and championing key values such as fair play, self-regulation, and pure enjoyment in physical activity.
